NOR 4082 Series – Designed for Every Tank Type
All models use a titanium float (optional acid-proof steel) that moves with the liquid level to activate a reed switch, each circuit protected by an intrinsically safe relay / zener barrier.
System Overview
The Vimex HLOAS is based on a PLC-controlled architecture that monitors each tank individually.
Each alarm level is shown clearly on the operator panel, giving immediate visual and audible indication of 95%, 98.5%, and 99% levels.
Signals are generated by magnetic float-operated switches (NOR 4082 series) mounted at the tank top.
Communication options:
- Hardwired or via RS-485/TCP fieldbus
- MODBUS RTU, BIT BUS or TIWAY network integration
Power supply:
110/230 VAC, 50/60 Hz @ 10 A, 600 VA (max)
Why Choose the NOR 4082i
The NOR 4082i represents the next generation of Vimex alarm systems – offering digital communication, simplified maintenance, and compatibility with existing tank installations. Its modular sensor design allows tip replacement from the tank top without gas-freeing, reducing downtime dramatically. The non-length-specific configuration means fewer spare parts and faster servicing.
Key benefits:
- Easy retrofit installation – no tank entry required
- Field-replaceable sensor tips for any level configuration
- RS-485 digital interface for modern monitoring systems
- Certified for DNV, LR, BV, NK, and CCS approval
